regardless of their vaccination status, and which currently includes the wearing of masks at all times while on Bug property. If you have any questions about any of the following please contact us before purchasing tickets or scheduling a rental.

WARNING: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and attendees with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting the Venue premises, an attendee voluntarily assumes all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

The Bug Theatre is Denver 5 Star Certified!

We're pleased to announce that The Bug Theatre has received 5 Star Certification from the county of Denver!

The Denver 5 Star Certification Program allows certified businesses to increase their capacity by implementing safety measures that exceed what is already required by public health orders and guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19. This program supports responsible businesses who are going above and beyond to prioritize the health and safety of their staff and customers, and will allow The Bug Theatre to operate under restrictions 1 level below Denver's COVID Dial Level if they're imposed again.

COVID-19 Guidelines (as of May 17th, 2021):

The Bug Theatre is currently operating at a reduced capacity due to emergency orders aimed to slow the spread of the virus. All renters, performers, and patrons will be required to abide by all county and state guidelines for indoor events and all rules implemented by The Bug Theatre. These rules include:

          • Guests are required to wear face masks that cover their nose and mouth at all times except while actively eating or drinking.

          • Completion of contract tracing forms, including at least one method of contact, is required for admission.

          • All attendees must comply with symptom monitoring including a temperature screening for fever (defined as above 100°F), symptoms, and exposure questions to be admitted. Persons failing or refusing any criteria are disallowed admission.

          • Capacity in shared spaces is currently limited to 50%, subject to change based on this evolving situation, and all attendees will be required to maintain a six-foot distance between each other, including the auditorium, control booth, green room, and concessions area.

The Bug is set up for simultaneous livestreaming of all events, which is available to all renters for no additional charge.
